Strategic roadmap:
In consideration of Department’s Vision & Mission and based on SWOT, Fishbone and other analyses, the Department of Pediatrics aimed to be a state of the art Pediatric Centre, with excellence in clinical and academic facilities along with related research and CME activities. This we intend to achieve maximum by 10 years.
To achieve this organizational transformation, the faculty is committed and aligned.
Monthly predefined commitments are discussed15 days prior to start of month and revisited on completion of month for review
Each term’s commitments are defined according to courses being run / participated by the Department and includes co-curricular and community related activities as well.
Yearly tasks are reviewed and revisited. These includes required number and quality of researches, curriculum review and course delivery review
In 3 years’ time, the Department aimed to contribute substantially in students’ success in SMLE and other exams including USMLE
By 5 years a well-established Department with growing clinical work and regular CME activities is in the plan
For sustainable results, the road map and action plan is periodically discussed and reviewed.
